Principalul obiectiv al proiectului constă în crearea unui nucleu de cercetare competitiv internațional în cadrul Universitatii POLITEHNICA din București (UPB) în domeniul producerii de biocombustibili și energie verde pe baza expertizei de cercetare dezvoltate în SUA, cu acces direct la instalații și tehnologii de ultimă generație care va constitui baza viitoarelor cariere ale tinerilor cercetători. Conceptul general pentru activitățile și obiectivele proiectului este ilustrat în Figura 1 de mai jos. Proiectul integrează strâns trei componente majore, detaliate în următoarele paragrafe, care sunt strâns legate, în scopul de a dezvolta cu succes capitalului uman și platformele fizice necesare pentru sustenabilitatea pe termen lung a proiectului dincolo de perioada de finanțare. The main objective of the project is to create an international competitive research core within the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest (UPB) in the field of biofuel and green energy production based on research expertise developed in the USA, with direct access to state-of-the-art installations and technologies that will form the basis of the future careers of young researchers. The general concept for the project activities and objectives is illustrated in Figure 1 below. The project closely integrates three major components, detailed in the following paragraphs, which are closely linked, in order to successfully develop the human capital and physical platforms needed for the long-term sustainability of the project beyond the funding period. L’objectif principal du projet est de créer un noyau de recherche compétitive internationale au sein de l’Université POLITEHNICA de Bucarest (UPB) dans le domaine de la production de biocarburants et d’énergie verte, sur la base de l’expertise de recherche développée aux États-Unis, avec un accès direct aux installations et technologies de pointe qui constitueront la base des carrières futures des jeunes chercheurs. Le concept général des activités et des objectifs du projet est illustré à la figure 1 ci-dessous. Le projet intègre étroitement trois grandes composantes, détaillées dans les paragraphes suivants, qui sont étroitement liées, afin de développer avec succès le capital humain et les plateformes physiques nécessaires à la viabilité à long terme du projet au-delà de la période de financement. Hauptziel des Projekts ist die Schaffung eines international wettbewerbsfähigen Forschungskerns innerhalb der POLITEHNICA Universität Bukarest (UPB) im Bereich der Biokraftstoff- und grünen Energieerzeugung auf der Grundlage der in den USA entwickelten Forschungskompetenz mit direktem Zugang zu modernsten Anlagen und Technologien, die die Grundlage für die zukünftige Karriere junger Forscher bilden. Das allgemeine Konzept für die Projektaktivitäten und -ziele ist in Abbildung 1 dargestellt. Das Projekt integriert eng drei Hauptkomponenten, die in den folgenden Abschnitten beschrieben sind, die eng miteinander verknüpft sind, um das Humankapital und die physischen Plattformen, die für die langfristige Nachhaltigkeit des Projekts über den Förderzeitraum hinaus erforderlich sind, erfolgreich zu entwickeln. Het belangrijkste doel van het project is het creëren van een internationale concurrerende onderzoekskern binnen de POLITEHNICA University of Boekarest (UPB) op het gebied van de productie van biobrandstoffen en groene energie op basis van in de VS ontwikkelde onderzoeksexpertise, met directe toegang tot geavanceerde installaties en technologieën die de basis zullen vormen van de toekomstige carrières van jonge onderzoekers. Het algemene concept voor de projectactiviteiten en -doelstellingen wordt geïllustreerd in figuur 1. Het project integreert nauw drie belangrijke onderdelen, die in de volgende paragrafen nader worden beschreven en die nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn, om het menselijk kapitaal en de fysieke platforms die nodig zijn voor de duurzaamheid van het project op lange termijn na de financieringsperiode met succes te kunnen ontwikkelen.
