Education is a key factor in overcoming poverty and social exclusion. A large proportion of those at risk of poverty are people with lower education than primary and lower secondary education. The children of low-skilled parents are also at high risk of poverty and social exclusion. Our project proposal is aimed at this vulnerable group of people. We realise the fact that adult literacy needs to be impacted in a targeted manner. Very often, they have problems with basic skills that are key to their successful socialisation. Their problems affect their children, i.e. our students. The planned activities under the project are aimed at compensating for the effect of early school leaving. With the realisation of the project activities we will provide them with access to literacy courses and the appropriate environment for compensating the problems in literacy, as well as courses for acquiring competences from lower secondary stage. For the realisation of Activity 1, a Mechanism for identifying and motivating the target groups has been established. Under Activity 2 we plan to organise literacy courses, competence courses from lower secondary education. For the assessment and certification of the results, we will also conduct the relevant examinations for the education and competence courses at lower secondary level. We will successfully motivate graduates to continue their education to a higher degree. Through information materials, events will promote the need to increase literacy as a prerequisite for future employment. The project will create the following groups — for literacy, for 5, 6 and 7 grades. Our goal is at least three classes to complete primary education within the project. We predict the size of the groups to be within 10-15 people. The groups will include persons (including Roma) from 16 to 24 years old and 25 to 64 years old. (English)

    Образованието е основен фактор за преодоляване на бедността и социалното изключване. Голяма част от изложените на риск от бедност са хора с образование по-ниско от начално,с начално и прогимназиално образование. Децата на нискоквалифицираните родители също са в голям риск от бедност и социално изключване.Нашето проектно предложение е насочено именно към тази уязвима група хора.Ние осъзнаваме факта, че трябва да се въздейства целенасочено върху грамотността на възрастните. Много често те имат проблеми с основни умения, които са от ключово значение за успешното им социално проибщаване. Техните проблеми рефлектират върху децата им, т.е. нашите ученици.Планираните дейности по проекта са насочени към компенсиране ефекта от преждевременното напускане на училище. С реализирането на дейностите по проекта ще им осигурим достъп до курсове за ограмотяване и на подходяща среда за компенсиране на проблемите в грамотността, както и курсове за придобиване на компетентности от прогимназиален етап.За реализирането на Дейност 1 е създаден Механизъм за идентифициране и мотивиране на целевите групи. По Дейност 2 планираме организиране на курсове за ограмотяване,курсове за придобиване на компетентности от прогимназиален етап на основното образование. За оценяването и сертифицирането на резултатите, ще проведем и съответните изпити за курсовете за ограмотяване и придобиване на компетентности от прогимназиален етап. Ще мотивираме успешно завършилите за продължаване на образованието им в по-горна степен.Чрез информационни материали, събития ще популяризираме необходимостта от повишаване на грамотността като предпоставка за бъдеща заетост.В рамките на проекта ще бъдат създадени следните групи-за ограмотяване,за 5, 6 и 7 клас. Целта ни е поне три класа да завършат основно образование в рамките на проекта. Предвиждаме числеността на групите да е в рамките на 10-15 човека. В групите ще се включат лица (включително роми) както от 16 до 24 години, така и лица от 25 до 64 годишна възраст. (Bulgarian)
