The project aims to create the necessary conditions for increasing the qualifications and competences of pedagogical specialists and educational mediators from educational institutions in 3 municipalities — Omurtag, Tvarditsa and Nikola Kozlevo to work in a multicultural environment. The project will be implemented in partnership between the candidate Association Integro and 4 educational institutions — Tsanko Tserkovski Secondary School, Nikola Kozlevo village, Neofit Rilski Secondary School, Tvarditsa, Vocational High School of Transport and Light Industry, Omurtag and Children’s Garden “Happy Childhood”, town of Tvarditsa. In the framework of the project, several types of activity are foreseen:- Activities to analyse the previous experience of educational institutions for working in a multicultural environment, identification of basic needs and needs to improve work in this direction and development of adequate strategies and plans for the training of the peers from the trainings of the teachers. The trainings will be conducted under a program including a variety of topics to familiarise themselves with the cultural characteristics of different communities and the specific characteristics of children from vulnerable communities, to learn methods and approaches to work in a multicultural environment, to the importance of emotional intelligence for improving the interaction between teachers, children and their families, to the role of empathy, as an opportunity to improve communication, the role of mediation in improving cooperation between school and community, etc. Trainings with the award of 1, 2 and 3 credits, as well as joint two-day trainings for teachers and educational mediators. — Activities to support educators to gain higher professional qualification level — taking fees and enrolling in preparatory courses. Проектът цели да създаде необходимите условия за повишаване на квалификацията и компетентностите на педагогически специалисти и образователни медиатори от образователни институции в 3 общини- Омуртаг, Твърдица и Никола Козлево за работа в мултикултурна среда. Проектът ще се реализира в партньорство между кандидата Асоциация Интегро и 4 образователни институции- Средно училище "Цанко Церковски", с. Никола Козлево, Средно училище "Неофит Рилски" , град Твърдица, Професионална гимназия по транспорт и лека промишленост, град Омуртаг и Детска градина "Щастливо детство", град Твърдица.В рамките на проекта са предвидени няколко типа дейност:- Дейности за анализиране на досегашния опит на образователните институции за работа в мултикултурна среда, идентифициране на основни нужди и потребности за подобряване на работата в тази насока и разработване на адекватни стратегии и планове за посрещане на идентифицираните потребности.Дейността ще се изпълни от екип от външни експерти и педагози от всеки партньор.- Провеждане на цикъл от обучения за повишаване на компетентностите на учителите и образователните медиатори за работа в мултикултурна среда. Обученията ще се провеждат по програма, включваща разнообразни теми за запознаване с културните особености на различните общности и специфичните характеристики на деца от уязвими общности, за усвояване на методи и подходи за работа в мултикултурна среда, за значението на емоционалната интелигентност за подобряване на взаимодействието между учители, деца и техните семейства,за ролята на емпатията, като възможност за подобряване на комуникацията, ролята на медиацията за подобряване на сътрудничеството между училище и общност и др. Предвиждат се обучения с присъждане на 1, 2 и 3 кредита, както и съвместни двудневни обучения за учители и образователни медиатори.-Дейности за подпомагане на педагозите за придобиване на по-висока професионално квалификационна степен- поемане на такси и включване в подготвителни курсове.
