The implementation of the project “Reconstruction and rehabilitation of Albena Square — Silistra” aims to increase the attractiveness of the city, the quality and comfort of living through an integrated impact on significant urban spaces. The main activities in the project are related to reconstruction and rehabilitation of the alley network, pavement, restoration of a water mirror and monument “1800 years Silistra”, creation of children’s playground and recreation areas, construction of the bike lane, introduction of video surveillance and energy-saving lighting and providing an accessible environment for people with difficult mobility. The main target group in view of the specificity of the project covers the entire population of Silistra, which with the realisation of the project will benefit from the created attractive urban environment, which will increase the quality of life, social inclusion and improve the environmental environment. С изпълнението на проект "Реконструкция и рехабилитация на площад "Албена" - гр. Силистра" се цели повишаване привлекателността на града, качеството и комфорта на обитаване, чрез интегрирано въздействие върху значими градски пространства. Основните дейности в проекта са свързани с реконструкция и рехабилитация на алейната мрежа, тротоарни настилки, възстановяване на водно огледало и паметник "1800 години Силистра", създаване на детска площадка и зони за отдих, изграждане на велоалея, въвеждане на видеонаблюдение и енергоспестяващо осветление и осигуряване на достъпна среда за хора със затруднена мобилност. Основната целева група с оглед спецификата на проекта обхваща цялото население на гр. Силистра, което с реализацията на проекта ще бъде облагодетелствано от създадената привлекателна градска среда, която ще повиши качеството на живот, социалното включване и ще подобри екологичната среда.
