“Introduction of energy efficiency measures and renovation of multi-apartment buildings, blocks 193, No 199 and”Glatolist“, in the town of Zlatograd”
Property / summary

The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and extending the life cycle of multi-apartment buildings in Zlatograd. These are blocks No 193, No 199 and “Goldist” in the town of Zlatograd. Currently, housing in these buildings is energy-inefficient because a large proportion of them are heated by solid fuel. This is a prerequisite for increasing air pollution in the city. With this in mind, the blocs are included for investments to improve energy efficiency in housing, which will contribute to improving air quality and overall quality of life in the region. The blocks were built in the 1960s and 1970s and have not been fully updated since then. There is an economic activity in the buildings. According to the reports on energy efficiency and structural sustainability, the three buildings need to introduce energy efficiency improvement measures and implement constructive reinforcement measures to ensure that their lifespan is extended. To date, the three buildings have the energy consumption class ‘F’. The measures prescribed to achieve the energy class “C” of buildings are: thermal insulation of external walls, replacement of metal and wooden windows with PVC windows, with glazing, thermal insulation of roofs, replacement of lighting. Access to the buildings is also provided for disadvantaged people. (English)

(Bulgarian)
