“Introduction of energy efficiency and renovation measures for multi-apartment buildings, blocks 7, 8, 175, 181, 182 and 195, in the town of Zlatograd”
Property / summary | |||||||||||||||
The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and extending the life cycle of multi-apartment buildings in Zlatograd. These are blocks Nos 7, 8, 175, 181, 182 and 195 in the town of Zlatograd. Currently, housing in these buildings is energy-inefficient because a large proportion of them are heated by solid fuel, which is a prerequisite for increasing air pollution in the city. With this in mind, the blocs are included for investments to improve energy efficiency in housing, which will contribute to improving air quality and overall quality of life in the region. The blocks were built in the 1960s and 1970s and have not been fully updated since then. There is no economic activity in buildings. According to the reports on energy efficiency and structural sustainability, the six buildings need to introduce energy efficiency improvement measures and implement constructive reinforcement measures to ensure that their lifespan is extended. To date, the six buildings have energy consumption classes from ‘G’ to ‘E’. The measures prescribed to achieve the energy class “C” of buildings are: thermal insulation of external walls, replacement of metal and wooden windows with PVC windows, with glazing, thermal insulation of roofs, replacement of lighting. Access to the buildings is also provided for disadvantaged people. (English)

(Bulgarian)
