The project has as its general objective to ensure the functioning of the Sliven District Information Centre and to continue the implementation of the activities for raising awareness of citizens, accessibility to information, promotion of the opportunities offered by the EU during the programming period 2014-2020 in the region of Sliven and promotion of good practices in relation to ESIF.By the established and functioning Sliven RIC, the project has specific objectives — promoting the programmes financed by ESIF as a financial instrument for improving the development and quality of life on the territory of Sliven region; informing potential beneficiaries about the funding opportunities offered by ESIF-funded programmes; increasing the capacity of beneficiaries and encouraging them to apply for projects under the operational programmes; providing citizens from the four municipalities in Sliven with easy access to information through the established and functioning Centre on the objectives, ways and opportunities for funding from ESIF in Bulgaria; ensuring the right to fair and full access to information on ESIF funding opportunities for all social, ethnic and age groups; collecting and disseminating information and promoting good practice on ESIF. They will be achieved through the implementation of activities including: the organisation and implementation of a minimum of 60 public information events by municipalities and other localities in the area, media events and various target groups; participation of RIC Sliven in three common initiatives of the Network; development and distribution of five types of printed and audiovisual information materials — videos, puzzles, two types of leaflets and flyers.The activities will contribute to the achievement of Specific Objective 3 of Priority Axis: 4 “Technical assistance for the management of ESIF” of OP “Good Governance” 2014-2020 and the objectives of the National Communication Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2014-2020. Проектът има за своя обща цел осигуряване функционирането на Областен информационен център Сливен и продължаване изпълнението на дейностите за повишаване информираността на гражданите, достъпността до информация, популяризиране възможностите, които ЕС предоставя през програмен период 2014-2020 в област Сливен и популяризиране на добри практики във връзка с ЕСИФ.Чрез изградения и функциониращ ОИЦ Сливен, проектът си поставя специфични цели - популяризиране на програмите, финансирани от ЕСИФ, като финансов инструмент за подобряване на развитието и качеството на живот на територията на област Сливен; информиране на потенциалните бенефициенти за възможностите за финансиране, предоставени от програмите, финансирани от ЕСИФ; повишаване капацитета на бенефициентите и насърчаване на активността им да кандидатстват с проекти по оперативните програми; осигуряване на лесен достъп до информация на гражданите от четирите общини в област Сливен посредством изградения и функциониращ Център относно целите, начините и възможностите за финансиране от ЕСИФ в България; осигуряване на правото на справедлив и пълен достъп до информация за възможностите за финансиране от ЕСИФ за всички социални, етнически и възрастови групи; събиране и разпространение на информация и популяризиране на добри практики във връзка с ЕСИФ. Те ще бъдат постигнати чрез реализирането на дейности, включващи: организирането и провеждането на минимум 60 публични информационни събития по общини и други населени места в областта, събития за медиите и различни целеви групи; участие на ОИЦ Сливен в три общи инициативи на Мрежата; разработване и разпространение на пет вида печатни и аудиовизуални информационни материали - видеоклипове, пъзели, два вида дипляни и флаери.Дейностите ще допринесат за постигане на Специфична цел 3 на Приоритетна ос: 4 „Техническа помощ за управлението на ЕСИФ“ на ОП „Добро управление“ 2014-2020 и целите на Националната комуникационна стратегия на РБългария за периода 2014-2020 година.
