The project aims at implementing energy efficiency measures in 11 residential buildings. The sites of intervention fall within the construction boundaries of the town of Popovo, which is designated as a supporting centre of level 4 of the national polycentric system, according to the National Concept for Spatial Development 2013-2025. The project activities will contribute directly to the reduction of final energy consumption and indirectly — to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in residential buildings, with a total area of 18 891,95, at 1 Tsar Osvoboditel Str. — Area 1 396 m²;2) Mladost bl. 15, ent. A, B, C — total area 2 685 m²; 3) Mladost bl. 102, ent. A, B, C, D,D — total area 2 254 m²; 4) 10 Bratya Miladinovi Str. — total area 825 m²;5) “General Baranov” Str. 1 — total area 2 095 m²;6) “Brata Miladinovi” Str. 3 — Area 1 238.66 m²;7) 75 Dimitrov Blagoev Str., Ent. A and B — Area 1 271.29 m²;8) Mladost bl. 116, Ent. A and B — Area 1 961 m²; on the basis of preliminary reports from an energy efficiency audit and the technical characteristics of the buildings, the project proposal sets out the mandatory and accompanying events to ensure the improvement of the energy performance of buildings, the reduction of energy costs, the improvement of the overall appearance, the creation of better living conditions and thermal comfort of the citizens of the town of Popovo. With the realisation of this project, the annual reduction of primary electricity is expected to be about 4 882 530 KWh/year and greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced to 301,93 tonnes CO2/year. Проектът е насочен към изпълнение на мерки за енергийна ефективност в 11 бр. жилищни сгради. Обектите на интервенция попадат в строителните граници на гр. Попово, който е определен като опорен център от ниво 4 на националната полицентрична система, съгласно Националната концепция за пространствено развитие 2013-2025 г. Попово.С реализиране на настоящият проект се очаква годишното намаление на първичната електроенергия да бъде около 4 882 530 KWh/год., а емисиите от парникови газове да се редуцират до 301,93 тона CO2/годишно.
