Energy efficiency in the building of the District Office “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” — Pomorie | |||||||||||||||
Property / summary | |||||||||||||||
This project proposal includes activities to improve the energy efficiency of the building of the RSPBZN-Pomorie, contributing to reducing final energy consumption and indirectly reducing greenhouse gas emissions in small towns — backbone centres of the polycentric system, according to the NCPR. The measures will also have an additional effect as they will ensure the cost-effective operation of the public building, allowing them to sustainably continue their management and maintenance. The implementation of the activities set out in the project proposal will contribute to: • Achieving at least the energy consumption class “C” in the building of the RSPBZN-Pomorie; • Reducing energy costs; • A higher level of energy efficiency, directly contributing to the reduction of final energy consumption and indirectly to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in small towns — the backbone of the polycentric system, according to the NCPR 2013-2025 • Achieving the indicative national energy saving targets for 2020 set out in the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency 2014-2020; • Ensuring better air quality, living conditions and working environments in line with sustainable development criteria; • Improvement of performance to extend the life cycle of the building; • Preserving the traditional functions of small towns — backbone centres for the provision of public services, not only for the local population but also for the populations of the surrounding peripheral areas. The energy efficiency measures envisaged under the project will be implemented on the basis of an energy efficiency audit of the building concerned, which will demonstrate that the measures implemented will lead to the regulatory energy efficiency levels — at least the energy consumption class “C”.
