In order to restructure the holding and adapt to market conditions, the farmer will increase the number of bee colonies through its own breeding activity from 125 when applying under the sub-measure to 157 by the year of verification of the implementation of the business plan, which will be organically reared. To reduce manual labor while maintaining a minimum herbaceous height in the apiary to protect bee colonies from diseases and enemies, the farmer will purchase a lawnmower/grass trimer (March-April 2021). The farmer will meet Objective 4 “Reaching compliance with the Community Standards on veterinary and phytosanitary requirements, animal welfare, environmental protection, hygiene, safety and occupational safety”, by purchasing a set of workwear and personal protective equipment for apiary work (July-August 2020). The purchase of workwear and personal protective equipment will be the investment with which the implementation of the business plan will start after submission of the project proposal, but no later than nine months from the date of conclusion of the administrative contract for granting financial assistance. The farmer envisages a course of 150 hours in agriculture (November-December 2020), thus fulfilling the Specific score 12 “Finished course of 150 hours in agriculture”. (English) | |||||||||||||||
