The farmer will increase the peach area by renting/renting 8,000 decares of peach gardens in autumn/December 2019 and create 0.345 decares of peach garden on the set-aside area in spring 2020. The new gardens will also be grown using the organic production method and an annex to the contract will be concluded for this purpose. To reduce external mechanised services to maintain between rows of gardens in good agricultural and environmental condition, a mower/muscher will be purchased in 2019. Within 36 months from the date of the conclusion of the financial aid contract, but no later than the selected end date of the period for verifying the implementation of the business plan, the farmer will meet the requirements for professional skills and competences by completing a training course of 150 hours and/or a training course of 150 hours under sub-measure 1.1 ‘Vocational training and acquisition of skills’. In the event that the 150 hours training course includes a module of at least 15 teaching hours on key environmental issues in the agricultural sector, the applicant will also receive this training at the same time, otherwise he/she will participate in an information activity on these issues of at least 8 hours (2020). In order to comply with the Plant Protection Act, the farmer will register it with the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and will strictly start keeping a diary on the application of plant protection products, fertilisers and soil improvers and will undergo a course for working with preparations from the second group in May of 2019. The registration of the farm and passing the course for working with preparations of Group II will be the activities with which the implementation of the business plan will start at the latest within nine months from the date of conclusion of the contract for granting financial aid.
