Настоящото проектно предложение, „Дом за социални дейности „Чекотин“, предвижда основен ремонт, преустройство и промяна на предназначението на съществуващо училищно общежитие в с. Калугерово и превръщането му в Дом за социални дейности, с капацитет 56 места за настаняване за възрастни хора в самостоятелни или споделени стаи.За хората, настанени в дома, ще бъдат осигурени ежедневни грижи – храна, почистване, поддържане на чисто облекло и спално бельо и др. Ще се организират различни групови занимания – тихи игри, излети, срещи с писатели, музиканти и др. с цел осигуряване пълноценен живот на настанените в дома възрастни хора.Проектът предвижда създаване на трайна заетост за 11 души – медицински персонал – вкл. лекар и психолог, административен и обслужващ персонал, което ще бъде гаранция за доброто обгрижване на настанените в дома хора.
