Cieľom projektu je rozvinúť infraštruktúru pre cyklodopravu a tým vytvoriť podmienky pre zvýšenie podielu cyklodopravy v rámci deľby prepravnej práce v meste Martin s prepojením na cyklodopravnú dostupnosť aj do susedného mesta Vrútky. V rámci predkladaného projektu sa vybuduje samostatná cyklocestička v katastri mesta Martin spájajúca lokalitu Pltníky, odkiaľ už vedie vybudovaná ceklocestička do centra mesta a viacerých mestských častí, s mestskou časťou Priekopa a susednými Vrútkami. Vybuduje sa 2,787 km novej cyklocestičky, v rámci čoho sa zrekonštruuje jedna lávka, vybuduje sa jeden podjazd a jeden cyklomost a vytvorí sa päť odpočinkoých miest s lavičkami, stojanmi a košmi. Na projekt plynule nadväzuje vrútocká časť cyklocestičky riešená v súčasne predloženej žiadosti Mesta Vrútky o NFP s názvom "Cyklotrasa Martin - Vrútky, časť Vrútky". (Slovak)

The aim of the project is to develop the infrastructure for cycling and thus to create conditions for increasing the share of cycling transport as part of the division of transport work in the city of Martin with a connection to cycling accessibility also to the neighbouring town of Vrútky. As part of this project, a separate cycle path will be built in Martin’s cadastre connecting the Pltníky locality, from where the built-up ceclocestička leads to the city center and several city districts, with the town district Priekopa and neighbouring Vrútkami. 2.787 km of the new cycle path will be built, which will reconstruct one footbridge, build one underpass and one cycling bridge and create five resting places with benches, stands and baskets. The project is smoothly followed by the corrugated part of the cycle path addressed in the simultaneously submitted application of the Municipality of Vrútky for NFP entitled “Cyklotrasa Martin – Vrútky, part Vrútky”. Dans le cadre de ce projet, une piste cyclable distincte sera construite dans le cadastre de Martin reliant la localité Pltníky, d’où la ceclocestička construite mène au centre-ville et à plusieurs quartiers de la ville, avec le district de Priekopa et Vrútkami voisin. 2,787 km de la nouvelle piste cyclable seront construites, qui reconstruira une passerelle, construirea un passage inférieur et un pont cyclable et créera cinq aires de repos avec des bancs, des stands et des paniers. Le projet est suivi en douceur de la partie ondulée de la piste cyclable traitée dans la demande présentée simultanément par la municipalité de Vrútky pour la NFP intitulée «Cyklotrasa Martin — Vrútky, partie Vrútky».
