Smyslem projektu je zavedení silniční meteorologie v intravilánu statutárního města Liberce s cílem poskytnutí cílovým skupinám informace o meteorologické situaci v zájmovém území projektu v reálném čase a omezení krizových situací a snížení nehodovosti v dopravě v příčinné souvislosti s výskytem meteorologickcýh jevů.
