Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) zkoumá neprobádané části kosmického záření tzv. gama fotonů. V rámci současného výzkumu mezinárodního projektu CTA je v ČR využívána neúplná infrastruktura (FZÚ v Praze a Olomouci, Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci) vybudovaná v minulém období. Tuto infrastrukturu je nutné dobudovat tak, aby mohly být splněny závazky ČR vůči projektu CTA, kde má ČR unikátní postavení. Tento projekt představuje dobudování stávající infrastruktury v ČR pro specifika projektu CTA. a. (Czech)

Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) examines unexplored parts of cosmic rays called gamma photons. As part of the current research of the international project CTA, incomplete infrastructure (FZÚ in Prague and Olomouc, Palacký University Olomouc) is used in the Czech Republic. This infrastructure must be completed in such a way that the Czech Republic’s obligations towards the CTA project, where the Czech Republic has a unique position, can be fulfilled. This project represents the completion of the existing infrastructure in the Czech Republic for the specifics of the CTA project. a. (English)
