Ouvert depuis 2015, le Fab Lab d'Ajaccio s'encre dans une démarche d'enseignement de la littéracie numérique. De part ses statuts l'association adhère totalement à la charte de la médiation numérique de Corse. L'association gère et anime un atelier offrant aux publics des outils de fabrication numérique, un Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory), concept défini par le MIT de Boston, USA. Les objectifs sont : - de promouvoir l'éducation populaire, - de favoriser la diffusion et la transmission de compétences et de connaissances, - de faciliter l'innovation technique, économique, sociale et environnementale ainsi que l'expérimentation par la pratique, - d'encourager les actions responsables et durables en interaction avec l'environnement technique, naturel, économique et social, - de favoriser la collaboration et l'entraide, ainsi que le croisement et l'échange transdisciplinaire. Opened since 2015, the Fab Lab d’Ajaccio is ink in a process of teaching digital literacy. From its statutes the association fully adheres to the charter of the digital mediation of Corsica. The association manages and hosts a workshop offering audiences digital manufacturing tools, a Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory), a concept defined by the MIT in Boston, USA. The objectives are: — to promote popular education, — to promote the dissemination and transmission of skills and knowledge, — to facilitate technical, economic, social and environmental innovation and experimentation through practice, — to encourage responsible and sustainable actions in interaction with the technical, natural, economic and social environment, — to promote collaboration and mutual assistance, as well as cross-disciplinary interchange and exchange.
