Le projet « COMPAS » est un projet de recherche et développement lorrain visant à développer des pièces structurelles en matériau composite pour l’industrie automobile. Les pièces structurelles développées sont destinées aux systèmes d’absorption de chocs, notamment les fonctions poutre transversale et absorbeurs de chocs. Ces systèmes sont actuellement fabriqués à partir de matériaux métalliques (acier, aluminium). (French)

The “COMPAS” project is a Lorraine research and development project aimed at developing structural composite material parts for the automotive industry. The structural parts developed are designed for shock absorption systems, including cross beam and shock absorber functions.
