Le projet concerne la protection et la valorisation de cinq terrils classés aux monuments historiques et inscrits en tant que biens UNESCO, situés sur 5 sites répartis sur 7 communes du Bassin Minier du Pas-de-Calais. L’aménagement porte sur : - des ouvrages d'accessibilité afin de canaliser la fréquentation de la population, - la création de belvédères, - la protection des espaces naturels sensibles, - la sauvegarde du patrimoine (limiter les facteurs de dégradation et d'érosion).
