Projekt ispunjava ciljeve koji proizlaze iz strateških dokumenta RH i EU direktive. S projektom će se uspostaviti regionalni održiv sustav vodoopskrbe s jednim isporučiteljem vodnih usluga – VIOZŽ. Izgradnja novog vodocrpilišta Kosnica će osigurati kvalitetnu pitku vodu. Investicije u rekonstrukciju cjevovoda i izgradnju NUS sistema će pridonijeti smanjenju vodnih gubitaka na regionalnom sustavu u prosjeku s 29,2% na ukupno 18,6%. Izgradnja magistralnih cjevovoda i distributivne mreže će omogućiti priključenje novog broja stanovnika (29.183 stanovnika (godina 2023)) i sa tim povećat priključenost stanovništva na tom području s postojećih 62,95% na 90,75%. The project meets the objectives stemming from the Croatian and EU strategic documents. The project will establish a regional sustainable water supply system for a single water supply operator — VIZŽ. The construction of new water pumping stations will ensure good quality drinking water. Investments in the reconstruction of pipelines and construction of us will contribute to reducing water losses on the regional system by an average of 29.2 % to 18.6 % overall. The construction of the magistral pipelines and the distribution network will make it possible to connect the new population (29.183 inhabitants (year 2023)) and increase the connection of the population in this area from the existing 62.95 % to 90.75 %.
