Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are an important driver for the economy due to the fact that they create the highest number of jobs, but SMEs face the same issues from year to year. Indeed, the regulatory environment in Croatia is not conducive to the growth and development of SMEs and the main obstacle is the complexity of regulatory procedures in initiating and implementing entrepreneurial activities. The Walloon Business Centre will actively contribute to the creation of entrepreneurship’s assumptions and environments and work to mitigate the negative impact of the crisis on the business of small economy operators, through educational workshops, round tables and upgrading the centre’s website over the eighteen months of the project.
