    Pärnu Vanalinna Põhikool on üks kesklinnas asuvatest koolidest. Viimastel aastatel on kasvanud kesklinna piirkonnas elavate laste arv ja suurenenud surve selle piirkonna koolidele. Saja-aastane väärikas koolihoone on väga amortiseerunud ning vajab kaasajastamist. Projekti raames rekonstrueeritakse ajalooline muinsuskaitseline hoone kaasaegseks 547 õppekohaga õppehooneks ja korrastatakse kooli ümbrus. Projekt on üks osa Pärnu linna 2012. a alustatud koolivõrgu ümberkorraldamise kavas. (Estonian)

    Pärnu Old Town Basic School is one of the schools in the city centre. In recent years, the number of children living in the city centre has increased and the pressure on schools in the region has increased. A 100-year-old dignified school building is very depreciated and needs to be modernised. As part of the project, the historic heritage-protected building will be reconstructed into a modern academic building with 547 study places and the surroundings of the school will be reconstructed. The project is part of the plan for the reorganisation of the school network launched by the city of Pärnu in 2012. (English)
