“Projekta “Latvijas Universitātes inovāciju granti studentiem” (turpmāk – Projekts) mērķis sekmēt Latvijas Universitātē studējošo inovāciju pieteikumu īstenošanu, attīstīt studējošo inovācijas spēju un uzņēmīgumu risinot sabiedrībai vai tās daļai nozīmīgas problēmas augstskolu un studējošo sadarbībā ar komersantiem.Projekta plānošanā par pamatu ņemta Latvijas Universitātes attīstības stratēģija, fakultāšu darbības izvērtējums un identificētās nozares aktualitātes, Latvijas Viedās specializācijas stratēģijas (RIS3) prioritātes un mērķi, kā arī Latvijas politikas plānošanas dokumenti. Projektā plānotie galvenie aktivitāšu virzieni:1.Studentu inovāciju spēju un uzņēmīguma attīstīšana, iesaistoties uzlabojot un izstrādājot jaunas mācību programmas, t.sk mācību programmu praktiskās daļas, kas palīdz veicināt studējošo inovācijspējas, prasmes, uzņēmību2.Studentu inovāciju spēju attīstība rīkojot inovācijas atbalstošos informatīvos pasākumus, veidojot komandas (t.sk. starp dažādu augstskolu studentiem), veicot prototipu izstrādes pirmsinkubācijas fāzē.3.Komersantiem svarīgu jautājumu risināšanā (zināšanu un inovāciju ietilpīgi Komersantu izaicinājumi/jautājumi), piedaloties komersantu inovatīvo izstrāžu procesos). 4.Studentu inovāciju un uzņēmējspēju attīstīšana, plānojot sava potenciālā biznesa izveidi un attīstību (studentu inovācijspēju attīstošās darbības pirmsinkubācijas fāzē)5.Sadarbībā ar projekta partneri Rīgas Tehnisko universitāti un SIA “Green Industry Innovation Center” veikt studentu biznesa ideju inkubāciju (līdz jaunuzņēmuma dibināšanai)Studentu inovāciju programmas dažādos posmos paredzēts veikt studentu atlasi inovāciju programmas īstenošanā, nodrošināt studentus ar pieeju laboratorijām, materiālus, kā arī inovatīvo izstrāžu zinātnisko vadību. Veikto inovatīvo izstrāžu publiskas prezentācijas paredzētas katra posma beigās, vienlaikus veicot labāko izstrāžu autoriem vienreizējas stipendijas piešķiršanu. Kā projekta partneri projekta īstenošanā piedalīsies Rīgas tehniskā Universitāte, Latvijas Universitātes cietvielu fizikas institūts, SIA “Zaļo tehnoloģiju inkubators”, kā arī vismaz 24 komersanti.Projektā plānots iesaistīt:-Ne mazāk kā 4500 studentus (apmācību un pirmsinkubācijas fāzēs).-Ne mazāk kā 35 Latvijas Universitātes akadēmiskā personāla pārstāvjus kā mentorus, darba grupu vadītājus, lektorus un ekspertus.-Ne mazāk kā 25 Latvijā reģistrētus komersantus.-Zinātnisko institūciju lektorus un ekspertus, kā arī ārvalstu uzņēmumu un augstskolu lektorus un ekspertus ar pieredzi atsevišķos inovāciju izstrādes aspektos (piemēram, inovatīvā domāšana, komandu uzņēmjdarbības princips u.c.). Projekta kopējās izmaksas plānotas 3 329 802,93euro, apmērā, t.sk. ERAF finansējums 2 497 351.44 euro apmērā un privātais līdzfinansējums 832 451.49 euro apmērā. Plānotais projekta ilgums 36 mēneši, no 2019.gada jūnija līdz 2022.gada 8.septembrim. (Latvian)

“The aim of the project "The University of Latvia Innovation Grants for Students" (hereinafter – the Project) is to promote the implementation of innovation applications for students at the University of Latvia, to develop the innovation capacity and enterprising capacity of students in solving significant problems for the society or part of it.The project’s planning is based on the development strategy of the University of Latvia, evaluation of faculties and identified topicalities in the field, priorities and objectives of the Latvian Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3), as well as Latvian policy planning documents. The main activities of the project are:1.Development of innovation capacity and enterprising of students by engaging in improvement and development of new curricula, including practical parts of curricula that help to promote students’ innovators’ capacities, skills and enterprise2.Development of students’ innovation abilities by organising innovation-supporting informative events, creating teams (including among university students), performing prototype development in the pre-incubation phase.3. 4.Development of student innovations and entrepreneurship by planning the creation and development of their potential business (until the establishment of a new enterprise)5.In cooperation with the project partner Riga Technical University and SIA Green Industry Innovation Center, it is planned to incubate student business ideas (until the start-up of a new enterprise) in the implementation of the innovation programme of students, provide students with access to laboratories, materials, as well as scientific management development. Public presentations at the end of each phase will be held at the end of each phase, while awarding a one-time scholarship to the authors of the best exhibitions. Riga Technical University, Institute of Solid state Physics of the University of Latvia, SIA “Green Technology incubators”, as well as at least 24 merchants will participate as project partners.The project will involve:-No less than 4500 students (training and pre-incubation phases).-No less than 35 representatives of academic staff of the University of Latvia as mentors, work group managers, lecturers and experts.-No less than 25 Latvian-registered merchants, and principles of innovative institutions. The total cost of the project is estimated at EUR 3329802,93, incl. ERDF funding of EUR 2497351.44 and private co-financing of EUR 832451.49 The planned duration of the project is 36 months, from June 2019 to September 8, 2022. (English)
