SIA iCotton ir kompānija, dibinātā 2011. gada 24. novembrī. Kompānijas galvenie pamatdarbības veidi atbilstoši NACE 2. red. klasifikācijai ir smaržu un kosmētisko līdzekļu ražošana (NACE 20.42), tekstilšķiedru sagatavošana un vērpšana (NACE 13.10), citur neklasificētu tekstilizstrādājumu ražošana (NACE 13.99), tekstilizstrādājumu vairumtirdzniecība (NACE 46.41) un starpproduktu vairumtirdzniecība (NACE 46.76).Latvijai būtisko zinātnes un pētniecības virzienu izvēle balstās vietējā darbaspēka attīstīšanu (atbilstoša izglītība, prasmes, darba kultūra, specializācijas un apmācīšanas iespējas) un vietējo zināšanu attīstīšanu (pietiekami attīstīts zināšanu un zinātnes nozaru kopums (sākot ar fundamentālajām zinātnēm, turpinot ar lietišķajām zinātnēm un beidzot ar komersantu P&A nodaļām). Balstoties uz šiem priekšnoteikumiem, ir atlasītas Latvijas tautsaimniecībai būtiskākās nozares viedo materiālu, viedo tehnoloģiju un inženiersistēmu specializācijā, starp kurām ir materiālu inženierija.iCotton sadarbojas ar Latvijas zinātniekiem (attīsta vietējās zināšanas), Dizaina un materiālu tehnoloģijas katedras habilitētā doktore Silvija Kukle ir publicējusi vairākus pētījumus par neaustu materiālu izmantošanu izolācijas materiāliem būvniecības procesā, kā arī pārklājumu radītām tekstimateriālu īpašību izmaiņām. Nevienā tuvākajā valstī nav neviena uzņēmuma, kura rīcībā būtu augstas ražības moderna neaustā materiāla ražošanas iekārtas ar operatoru un iestatītāju komandu (attīsta vietējo darbaspēku), tāpēc SIA "iCotton" sadarbojas ar zinātniekiem izpētes vajadzībām testēšanai piedāvājot izmantot ražošanas līniju. iCotton pēc pabeigšanas kopīgi ar RTU tiks strādāts pie jaunu materiālu un to pielietojumu izpētes, kur sākotnējais darbs tiks organizēts zinātniskās institūcijas ietvaros, bet pēc tam praksē pārbaudīts SIA "iCotton" ražotnē.Tādējādi attīstot vietējo darbaspēku un zināšanas darbā ar inovatīvām materiālu īpašībām tiek sekmēta RIS3 stratēģijas īstenošana apstrādes rūpniecības nozarē.Uzņēmuma galvenā ražotā produkcija ir mitrās salvetes, vates kociņi, vates plāksnītes, vienreizlietojamie autiņi un promo iepakojumu komplekti.Ņemot vērā, ka 2017. gadā uzņēmums strādās ar pilnu jaudu visās produktu grupās, tādējādi tālāks apgrozījuma pieaugums bez papildus investīcijām ražošanas jaudu palielināšanai vai jaunu produktu izveidei vairs nebūs iespējams. Šajā sakarā uzņēmums projekta ietvaros plāno izveidot jaunu ražošanas telpu ar nolūku paplašināt uzņēmuma saimniecisko darbību, ieviešot ražošanā jaunus produktus, kā arī palielināt esošo ražoto produktu apjomus.Lai uzņēmums varētu īstenot projektu šādā apjomā (uzcelt jaunu ražošanas ēku un paralēli iegādāties arī jaunas ražošanas līnijas), būs nepieciešams veikt šādas atbalstāmās darbības:-projektēšana vienai no abām ražošanas ēkām saskaņā ar normatīvajiem aktiem;-būvdarbu veikšana saskaņā ar iepirkumu procedūras noteiktajiem uzvarētājiem;-autoruzraudzība. Abu ēku tehnisko projektu autoruzraudzība, lai būvniecība tiktu veikta saskaņā ar tehniskajiem projektiem;-būvuzraudzība. Būvdarbu veikšanas laikā tiks veikta obligātā būvuzraudzība, lai ēkas tiktu izbūvētas pēc tehniskā projekta un, ievērojot visus Latvijā noteiktos likumus un normatīvos aktusProjekta īstenošanas rezultātā tiks izbūvēta jauna ražošanas ēka, uzstādītas jaunas ražošanas iekārtas un ieviesta ražošanā jauna produktu grupa.Paredzams, ka projekta kopējās attiecināmās izmaksas sastādīs EUR 2 539 184,46, savukārt, ERAF līdzfinansējums sastādīs 45% un sasniegs EUR 1 142 633,01.Projektu paredzēts īstenot 50 mēnešu laikā no līguma ar CFLA noslēgšanas brīža. ICotton Ltd. is a company founded on November 24, 2011. The company’s main activities according to NACE Rev. 2 classification are the production of perfumes and cosmetics (NACE 20.42), the preparation and spinning of textile fibres (NACE 13.10), the manufacture of textiles n.e.c. (NACE 13.99), the wholesale of textile products (NACE 46.41) and the wholesale of intermediate products (NACE 46.76).The selection of the relevant scientific and research directions for Latvia is based on the development of the local workforce (appropriate education, skills, work culture, specialisation and teaching opportunities) and the development of local sciences with advanced science and science (a variety of sciences and science at the end of the pharmacy). Based on these pre-conditions, the specialisation of smart materials, smart technologies and engineering systems of the most important sectors for the Latvian economy have been selected.ICotton cooperates with Latvian scientists (advanced local knowledge), the habilitated doctor of the Department of Design and Material Technology Silvija Kukle has published several studies on the use of non-woven materials in the insulation materials in the construction process, as well as changes in the properties of text materials created by coatings.
