Projektets mål är att inom projektperioden uppnå att SMF-företag i regionen inom träbranschen kan genom samverkan erbjuda konkurrenskraftiga affärserbjudanden inom byggande av flervåningshus i trä och att LTU och RISE har skapat en plattform för träbyggnad till stöd och som en resurs för regionens näringsliv. Delmål: Angående delprojektet "Teknisk FoU och projekteringsverktyg" har projektet bidragit till att utveckla av marknaden efterfrågade projekteringsverktyg och tekniskt kunnande så att regionens SMF-företag enskilt eller tillsammans med de stora träföretagen ska kunna erbjuda konkurrenskraftiga träbyggnadssystem. Angående delprojektet "Affärsstrategier och affärsutveckling för träbyggnadssystem" har projektet bidragit till att utveckla affärsstrategier för dessa träbyggnadssystem. Angående delprojektet "Demonstrations- och pilotprojekt" har projektet följt, utvärderat och förmedlat lärande kring den praktiska tillämpningen av de tekniska och affärsmässiga processerna för byggandet av flervåningshus i trä. Angående plattformen på LTU och RISE har projektet bidragit till att etablera formerna för en varaktig verksamhet inom temat Trämekanik med byggnadstekniska applikationer och utarbetat FoU-strategier för verksamheten. I arbetet med målen integreras möjlig uppbyggnad av nätverk och kluster, och samverkan mellan universitet, branschorgan och företag, som kan fortsätta arbetet efter projektet samt främja kompetensutveckling, lärande och utbildning i industriellt träbyggande för underrepresenterade grupper. På lång sikt ska projektet bidra till ökat byggande av höga hus i trä och till att etablera en plattform vid LTU och RISE för Trämekanik med byggnadstekniska applikationer. (Swedish)

The project’s goal is to achieve within the project period that SMF companies in the region within the wood industry can through collaboration offer competitive business offers in the construction of multi-storey buildings in wood and that LTU and RISE have created a platform for wood construction to support and as a resource for the region’s industry. Sub-targets: Regarding the subproject “Technical R & D and Design Tools” the project has contributed to the development of market-demanding tools and technical know-how so that the region’s SMEs alone or together with the large timber companies can offer competitive wood construction systems. Regarding the subproject “business strategies and business development for wood construction systems” the project has helped to develop business strategies for these wood construction systems. Regarding the project “Demonstration and pilot projects” the project has followed, evaluated and conveyed learning about the practical application of technical and business processes for building blocks of flats in wood. Regarding the platform at LTU and RISE, the project has helped to establish the forms of a lasting activity within the theme Wood Mechanics with structural applications and developed R & D strategies for the business. The work on the objectives integrates the possibility of networking and clustering, and collaboration between universities, industry bodies and companies, which can continue the work after the project and promote skills development, learning and training in industrial wood construction for underrepresented groups. In the long term, the project will contribute to increased construction of tall buildings in wood and to establish a platform at LTU and RISE for Wood Mechanics with structural applications.
