La MEL prévoit l'aménagement du réseau modes doux sur le secteur Javary-Fives-Legrand à Lille afin d'offrir un itinéraire continu et sécurisé aux usagers sur une longueur de près d'un kilomètre. L'élargissement des trottoirs, la sécurisation des traversées, la réalisation de pistes cyclables et la connexion avec le réseau existant permettront d'effacer les coupures urbaines créer par les axes ferrés et routiers et d'inciter ainsi les déplacements à vélo ou à pied. The MEL plans the development of the soft-mode network on the Javary-Fives-Legrand sector in Lille in order to offer a continuous and secure route for users over a length of almost one kilometre. Widening sidewalks, securing crossings, building cycle paths and connecting with the existing network will remove urban cuts created by rail and road roads and thus encourage cycling and walking.
