This operation concerns the three-year funding of a post of doctoral student for the realisation of a thesis entitled: ‘new ultra-refractory ceramics synthesised by flash sintering: study of oxidation and measurement of thermo-radiative properties under extreme conditions”. The operation will take place in the PROMES-CNRS laboratory located in Font-Romeu Odeillo, whose work focuses on solar energy and its recovery. The objective of the research project is the development and characterisation of new ultra-refractory ceramics that have never been developed, avoiding the presence of silicon carbide as much as possible.
