Rakennusten 2D-kuvista ollaan siirtymässä 3D-mallien kuvauksiin, johon tuottaa atk-malleja kv-konsortio buildingSMART. Toimintaa kuvataan termillä Building Information management ( BIM ). Sen datatiedostoformaatti on nimeltään IFC. Elinkaari tulee vahvasti mukaan rakennusdokumenttien pitkäaikaisarkistoinnissa, joka tähtää 100 vuoden perspektiiviin, jotta dokumentit ovat saatavissa korjausrakentamisvaiheessa. Yhtiön prosesseja uudistetaan, ja alihankinnassa saadaan myös yliopistoista tietotaitoa. Yritykselle tulee kykyä tarjota rakentamista mm. Senaatti-kiinteistöille. Visualisointikykyä saadaan mm. sisätilapaikannuksella ja lisätyn todellisuuden ( AR ) menetelmillä. (Finnish)
