The project develops a testing, development and learning environment (TKI-O) for the latest wellbeing technology, which serves in a diverse way both as a platform for the development of new learning content in upper secondary vocational education and training and as a testing and development environment for higher education and related research activities. The TKIO environment links the latest knowledge of wellbeing technology to the learning of repair construction, care and care and supports the implementation of remote and automation solutions as part of the teaching. The aim of the project is to link practitioners (students, teachers) to the development of well-being technology and, more broadly, integrated smart technology, as well as the promotion of transversal and practical innovation. With the development environment and new operating methods implemented under the conditions of the actors in the region, the project will build conditions for multidisciplinary development and education activities. This is expected to increase the multidisciplinary skills it needs in the region and to create new business in the future. In part, the project aims to improve the development potential and operating conditions of enterprises through the adaptable development environment and the development resource provided by educational institutions. Hankkeessa kehitetään uusimman hyvinvointiteknologian testaus-, kehitys- ja oppimisympäristöä (TKI-O), joka palvelee monipuolisesti sekä toisen asteen ammatillisen koulutuksen uusien oppisisältöjen kehitysalustana että korkeakoulutuksen ja siihen keskeisesti liittyvän tutkimustoiminnan testaus- ja kehitysympäristönä. TKIO-ympäristö kytkee hyvinvointiteknologian uusimman tiedon osaksi korjausrakentamisen sekä hoivan ja huolenpidon oppimista ja tukee etä- ja automaatioratkaisujen implementointia osaksi opetusta. Hankkeen tavoitteena on käytännön työtä tekevien (opiskelijat, opettajat) linkittäminen hyvinvointiteknologian ja laajemmin rakenteisiin integroidun älyteknologian kehitystoimintaan sekä monialaisen ja käytännönläheisen innovaatiotoiminnan edistäminen. Alueen toimijoiden ehdoilla toteutettavan kehitysympäristön ja uusien toimintatapojen myötä hankkeessa rakennetaan edellytyksiä monialaiselle kehitys- ja opetustoiminnalle. Tämän odotetaan kasvattavan alueelle sen tarvitsemia monialaisia osaajia ja tulevaisuudessa luovan uutta liiketoimintaa. Osaltaan hankkeen tavoitteena on yritysten kehitysmahdollisuuksien ja toimintaedellytyksien parantaminen muunneltavan kehitysympäristön ja oppilaitosten tarjoaman sitä tukevan kehitysresurssin myötä.
