The aim is to identify, in particular, the food sector, the wood sector and cleantech, and possibly also the export opportunities of Central Ostrobothnia’s educational expertise. Internationalisation from Central Ostrobothnia to China has still been limited (2 companies). However, the aim of the study is to highlight the opportunities and conditions of the Chinese market. Central Ostrobothnia has good food industry, wood and cleantech companies, whose products are in demand on the Chinese market. However, companies need to know background information about China and its markets, such as culture, legislation, the impact of relationships and the activities of local organisations. Hankkeen tavoitteena on selvittää millä edellytyksillä keskipohjalaiset pk-yritykset voisivat lähteä vientiin Kiinan markkinoille. Tavoitteena on kartoittaa erityisesti elintarvikeala, puuala ja cleantech sekä mahdollisesti myös keskipohjalaisen koulutusosaamisen vientimahdollisuudet. Kansainvälistyminen Keski-Pohjanmaalta Kiinaan on vielä ollut vähäistä (2 yritystä). Selvityksen tavoitteena on kuitenkin tuoda esiin Kiinan markkinoiden mahdollisuudet ja edellytykset. Keski-Pohjanmaalla on hyviä elintarvikelaan, puualan ja cleantech -yrityksiä, joiden tuotteille on kysyntää Kiinan markkinoilla. Yritysten tulee kuitenkin tietää Kiinasta ja sen markkinoista taustatiedot kuten kulttuurin, lainsäädännön, henkilösuhteiden vaikutuksen ja paikallisten organisaatioiden toiminnan osalta. (Finnish)
