The project directly concerns the development and operation of the sanitary sewage system in the village of High Lelowska on the territory of the Municipality of Żarki, together with the necessary modernisation of the sewage pumping station in m. Leśniwska. The project focuses on the rationalisation of water resources, in the specific hydrogeological area of the Kraków-Czestochowa Jury, in the context of water stress and pollution. It will continue the process of developing the infrastructure for water and wastewater management in the municipality of Żarki, in view of the need to fulfil the obligations arising from the Treaty of Accession in the field of environmental protection. According to the hydrogeological map of the project, the area covered by the project is one of very high risk for use by groundwater, which compounds the positive effects of the project on the environment and the ecosystem of the municipality of Żarki. The project will also build on the existing infrastructure infrastructure and sanitation infrastructure. (English) | |||

Projekt bezpośrednio dotyczy rozbudowy i uruchomienia kanalizacji sanitarnej w miejscowości Wysoka Lelowska na terenie Gminy Żarki wraz z niezbędną modernizacją przepompowni ścieków w m. Żarki przy ul. Leśniowskiej. Projekt jest zorientowany na racjonalizację gospodarowania zasobami wodnymi, w specyficznym hydrogeologicznie obszarze Jury Krakowsko–Częstochowskiej, w kontekście deficytu wód oraz występujących zanieczyszczeń. Będzie on kontynuacją procesu rozwoju infrastruktury przeznaczonej dla gospodarki wodno-ściekowej w Gminie Żarki w związku z koniecznością wypełnienia zobowiązań wynikających z Traktatu Akcesyjnego w zakresie ochrony środowiska. Wg. mapy hydrogeologicznej teren objęty projektem należy do obszarów o bardzo wysokim stopniu zagrożenia użytkowego wód podziemnych co potęguje pozytywne oddziaływanie projektu na środowisko naturalne i ekosystem gminy Żarki. Przedmiotowy projekt wykorzysta także istniejącą bazę infrastrukturalną w dziedzinie kanalizacji i oczyszczania. (Polish)
