Projekt polega na lokalizacji ścieżki dydaktycznej na terenie Rezerwatu Przyrody Mechelińskie Łąki, gmina Kosakowo, powiat pucki. Obszar inwestycji to dz.: 2/6, 2/3, 18, 6, 7, 28, 11, 14, 48, 47, 69/5, 214/5 obręb Mechelinki. Inwestorem niniejszego projektu jest jednostka samorządu terytorialnego - Gmina wiejska KOSAKOWO.Celem głównym projektu jest zachowanie bogactwa różnorodności biologicznej poprzez zabezpieczenie zasobów i walorów przyrodniczych, krajobrazowych prawnej formy ochrony przyrody – Rezerwatu Mechelińskie Łąki. W wyniku interwencji ograniczona zostanie antropopresja, w szczególności związana z nasilającym się ruchem turystycznym oraz prowadzonymi inwestycjami. Projekt zakłada wygrodzenie ścieżki drewnianymi barierkami, montaż: tablic edukacyjnych, drewnianych kładek w miejscach przecięcia szlaku z rowami melioracyjnymi i z zachodzącą na szlak plażą, kładki łączącej się ze ścieżką, wieży widokowej, tablic informacyjnych, obiektów małej architektury, oświetlenia solarnego.
