The agglomeration of Kostrków (according to Resolution No XLVIII/1015/14 of the Podkarpackie Regional Assembly of 23 June 2014), with a population equivalent of 4 742, located in the territory of: The project will have the effect of extending and upgrading the existing mechanical waste water treatment plant intended for 2918 population equivalents (p.e.). The current capacity of the treatment plant is as follows: Qmr. d. = 450 m³/d, Qmax = 30.6 m³/h (p.e. = 1406). After the conversion and extension of the plant the capacity will be increased to: Qmax = 63 m³/h (2918 p.e.), Qm. d. = 450 m³/d — not shift. The site will not be diverted into the receiver. the project aims at improving the quality and prevention of environmental degradation by reducing water and soil pollution and protecting natural ecosystems. From a social point of view, it is extremely important to improve the social and economic levels of the municipality and the state of the environment. The project will contribute to reducing the failure of the existing technological pipeline, reducing energy consumption, reducing the resulting odour, improving the work of the Sewage Treatment Plant.     Aglomeracja Kostków (zgodnie z uchwałą nr XLVIII/1015/14 sejmiku województwa podkarpackiego z dnia 23 czerwca 2014 r.) o równoważnej liczbie mieszkańców 4 742, zlokalizowaną na terenie miejscowości: Kostków, Pełkinie, Wólka Pełkińska, Wola Buchowska, Leżachów Osada i Jarosław (część ulicy Kurhel Pawłosiowski) z oczyszczalnią ścieków w Kostkowie.Planowane przedsięwzięcie polegać będzie na rozbudowie i modernizacji istniejącej mechaniczno – biologicznej oczyszczalni ścieków przeznaczonej docelowo dla 2918 równoważnej liczby mieszkańców (RLM). Przepustowość oczyszczalni wynosi obecnie: Qśr. d. = 450m3/d, Qmax godz. = 30,6 m3/h (RLM = 1406). Po przebudowie i rozbudowie oczyszczalni przepustowość ulegnie zwiększeniu do wartości: Qmax godz. = 63m3/h (2918 RLM), Qśr. d. = 450 m3/d – bez zmian.Odprowadzenie oczyszczonych ścieków odbywa się do rzeki San w km 105 + 400 (brzeg lewy) w m. Kostków, Gmina Jarosław. Miejsce odprowadzania ścieków do odbiornika nie ulegnie zmianie.Celem projektu jest poprawa jakości oraz zapobieganie degradacji środowiska poprzez ograniczanie zanieczyszczeń wód i gleby oraz ochronę naturalnych ekosystemów. Z punktu widzenia społecznego niezwykle istotna jest poprawa poziomu społecznego i gospodarczego gminy oraz stanu środowiska naturalnego. Projekt przyczyni się do zmniejszenia awaryjności istniejącego ciągu technologicznego, zmniejszenia zużycia energii, ograniczenia powstających odorów, usprawnienia pracy Oczyszczalni Ścieków.
