Celem projektu jest uporządkowanie kwestii związanych z gospodarką odpadami poprzez budowę punktu selektywnego zbierania odpadów komunalnych oraz odpadów problemowych (PSZOK) w Gminie Iwierzyce.Przedmiotem inwestycji jest budowa gminnego punktu selektywnego zbierania odpadów komunalnych obejmująca budowę jednego budynku w konstrukcji stalowej, budowę placu manewrowego, odcinka drogi pożarowej oraz infrastruktury technicznej tzn. elektrycznego złącza kablowego. Gminny punkt selektywnego zbierania odpadów komunalnych to inwestycja polegająca na budowie zespołu pomieszczeń zadaszonych w postaci budynku o konstrukcji stalowej dla szczelnych kontenerów stalowych, w których będą gromadzone odpady komunalne takie jak:- odpady biodegradowalne, szkło, metale, zużyte opony, odzież i tekstylia, tworzywa sztuczne, odpady niebezpieczne, sprzęt elektryczny i elektroniczny, popioły, gruz ceglany i betonowy, odpady wielkogabarytowe.Ponadto w projekcie uwzględniono działania informacyjno – edukacyjne, których celem będzie ograniczenie powstawania odpadów.
