The applicant for the project is the Dublin Culture Centre in Dubai, a self-governing cultural institution, under which direct supervision is carried out by the head of the municipality. The main objective of this project is to preserve and promote the cultural potential of the Białowieża Forest LAG, including the intangible assets of cultural heritage, by providing the Housing Culture Centre in the Dublin City Council. The main objective shall be pursued through the following specific objectives 1. The conservation and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage of the Białowieża Forest 2. Increasing the attractiveness of the municipality of Hajnówka. Economic and social benefits: 1.Establishing social and inter-generational links. 2.Integration of the local population. 3.Increasing the interest of the inhabitants of the Białowieża Forest area and of folklore and cultural heritage in the LAG 4.Extension of the cultural offer offered by the Dublin Cultural Centre in Dubai (music and youth workshops for children and young people, workshops with tools for children and young people). 5.Increase in the number of cultural and recreational events organised by the Municipal Cultural Centre, including events promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Białowieża Forest region. Wnioskodawcą przedmiotowego projektu jest Gminne Centrum Kultury w Dubinach - samorządowa instytucja kultury, nad którą bezpośredni nadzór sprawuje Wójt Gminy. Celem głównym przedmiotowego projektu jest zachowanie i promowanie potencjału kulturowego LGD Puszcza Białowieska, w tym zasobów niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego poprzez doposażenie Gminnego Centrum Kultury w Dubinach. Cel główny realizowany będzie poprzez następujące cele szczegółowe 1. Zachowanie i promocja niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego LGD Puszcza Białowieska 2. Zwiększenie atrakcyjności turystycznej Gminy Hajnówka. Korzyści społeczno- gospodarcze: 1.Utrwalenie więzi społecznych i międzypokoleniowych. 2.Integracja społeczności lokalnej. 3.Wzrost zainteresowania mieszkańców obszaru Puszczy Białowieskiej oraz turystów folklorem i bogactwem kulturowym LGD 4.Rozszerzenie oferty kulturalnej oferowanej przez Gminne Centrum Kultury w Dubinach (warsztaty muzyczno- taneczne dla dzieci i młodzieży, warsztaty drewniane z narzędziami dla dzieci i młodzieży ). 5.Zwiększenie ilości imprez kulturalno- rekreacyjnych organizowanych przez Gminne Centrum Kultury, w tym imprez promujących bogate dziedzictwo kulturowe regionu Puszczy Białowieskiej.
