La Communauté d'Agglomération du Bassin de Brive (CABB)*, intercommunalité de près de 110 000 habitants, regroupant 47 communes du sud-ouest du département de la Corrèze, candidate à l'appel à projets « Pôles de pleine nature en Massif Central 2014-2020 ». L'Agglo affiche ainsi une stratégie volontariste pour valoriser les ressources naturelles et patrimoniales de son territoire afin de répondre à la diversité des attentes des populations en matière de sport et de loisirs de pleine nature ; l'objectif étant d'accueillir touristes et sportifs venus de France et du monde entier. L'Agglo souhaite promouvoir une identité « destination de pleine nature d'excellence » autour d'un concept de multi-activités permettant de renforcer les partenariats et d'assurer une plus grande lisibilité pour les usagers. Le but est d'élargir une offre qualitative de services dans une logique de complémentarité et de mutualisation de moyens. Pour ce faire, l'Agglo a établi un diagnostic partagé par l'ensemble des acteurs du territoire, défini des objectifs de développement touristique par une offre de loisirs sportifs verts et bleus (eaux vives, eaux calmes), conçu un plan d'actions prioritaires et élaboré une stratégie de communication et de commercialisation cohérente et unifiée. The Community of Agglomeration of the Brive Basin (CABB)*, an intercommunity of nearly 110,000 inhabitants, comprising 47 municipalities in the south-west of the department of Corrèze, candidate for the call for projects “Pôles de nature en Massif Central 2014-2020”. The Agglo thus displays a proactive strategy to value the natural and heritage resources of its territory in order to meet the diversity of people’s expectations in terms of sport and leisure in nature; the aim is to welcome tourists and sportsmen from France and from all over the world. Aggglo wants to promote an identity “full-natured destination of excellence” around a multi-activity concept to strengthen partnerships and ensure greater readability for users. The aim is to expand a qualitative offer of services in a way that complements and pools resources. To this end, the Agglo has drawn up a diagnosis shared by all the actors in the territory, defined the objectives of tourism development by offering green and blue sports activities (white waters, calm waters), designed a priority action plan and developed a coherent and unified communication and marketing strategy.
