The project involves the construction of two alternative systems for the supply of LPG motor vehicles in the liquid phase. The DGI LM (generation V plant) and the DGI LCC system (generation VI generation). In DGI LM, gas in the liquid phase will be flown sequentially through additional injectors or LPG to the intake manifold. In the intake manifold, the liquid gas is distributed. The expansion process of LPG with liquid on volatile, accompanied by a temperature drop of more than 40 °C. The installation does not, therefore, require the use of “mirrors” in the case of auts that may have problems in the burning of valve slots. This system can be successfully mounted on engines which have badly tolerated the LPG service in the volatile phase. The DGI LCC system is an ideal solution for petrol direct injection engines as it uses the original petrol injectors to inject liquefied petroleum gas directly into the combustion chamber. When the engine is operating on a gas, it will not be consumed at all, as the injectors are continuously cooled by the gas flowing through the gas and there is no need to apply the ‘petrol pots’ which, from an economic point of view, cancel out the meaning of the conversion. The use of gas injectors for gas injection also leads to less interference in the engine area and the whole installation is practically invisible under the bonnet. The final recipient of the project results will be the owners of vehicles with direct and indirect injection of gasoline which shall report the need for LPG equipment serving the direct injection vehicles. Generated in the framework of the R & D work, the products will meet the needs of their recipient and will in addition be cost-competitive. In addition, the implementation of this project will contribute to employment growth. (English)

(Polish)
