Całkowita długość wybranego do realizacji odcinka budowy obwodnicy wynosi ok. 4,8 km. Początek odcinka - istniejące skrzyżowanie DW 780 (ul. Oświęcimska) z DP 1014K (ul.Piłsudskiego), koniec – DW 780 km (ul. Krakowska odc. ref. 160 km ok 0+800). Droga będzie drogą klasy G, jednojezdniową, posiadającą dwa pasy ruchu (szerokość pasa ruchu 3,5 m).
