The aim of the project is the digitisation of an invaluable collection of photographic materials presenting some closed time in the history of the photographs, their development in a dedicated database programme and the online dissemination of such photographs not yet published in their entirety. The digital process will cover sites that have a high documentary, historical and iconographic value which, because of the material, are extremely unstable, chemically modified or damaged. Among these are: — negatives and slides — over 56 % of the net negative cages and slides held by the institution have been selected for more than. W ramach projektu zostanie zdigitalizowanych i udostępnionych 9564 obiektów, opracowanych merytorycznie zostanie 5190 (pozostałe posiadają metadane). Wytypowane obiekty spełniają kryteria prawne - posiadają uregulowany stan prawny w zakresie praw autorskich i dobry stan konserwatorski.
