In view of the high level of CO2 emissions emitted by local transport in Ciechanów, the municipality of Miejska Ciechanów is active in reducing emissions. The project is based on inter-connected and complementary actions that will lead to CO2 reductions. The project will establish a transfer centre situated at the railway station in the & Ride station. A total of 208 parking spaces, 40 parking spaces for bicycles, bus bays, pavements, cycle paths (0.15 km) and associated infrastructure will be created in the two parking lots P & R. At the same time, on ul. Sienkiewicz will create 1.32 km of bicycle paths facilitating access to P & R by means of non-motorised transport. In the context of this project, a newly planned municipal road for the development of public transport in Ciechanów and in the functional area will be created. In the new road, there will be a total of 6.67 km of cycle paths that will help people living in new satellites from the municipality of Ciechanów and the municipality of Opinnira to reach out to work, schools and utilities. In addition, for the development of urban connectivity, public transport will be purchased on low carbon in two buses (1 electric and 1 with the Euro VI engine). The proposal consists of two complementary projects included in the RIT Investment Plan for the Ciechanowski subregion in the project I, including the main project. The whole project is in line with the Low Carbon Economy Plan for the City of Ciechanów adopted by Resolution No 195/XVII/2016 of the Ciechow Town Council dated 25.02.2016. the project was included in the Local Revitality Programme on the list in Mazowieckie Province. Sienkiewicza powstanie 1,32 km ścieżek rowerowych ułatwiających dojazd do P&R z wykorzystaniem transportu niezmotoryzowanego. W ramach przedmiotowego projektu powstanie nowoprojektowana obwodowa droga gminna przeznaczona do rozwoju transportu publicznego w Ciechanowie i na obszarze funkcjonalnym. W ciągu nowej drogi powstanie 6,67 km ścieżek rowerowych ułatwiających mieszkańcom nowych osiedli satelickich z terenu Gminy Miejskiej Ciechanów i Gminy Opinogóra Górna dotarcie do pracy, szkoły i obiektów użyteczności publicznej. Projekt został ujęty w Lokalnym Programie Rewitalizacji wpisanym do wykazu w woj. mazowieckim. (Polish)
