The purpose of the project is to improve the transport accessibility of Łódź Province by improving the transport capacity of ŁKA region in its dealings with Łódź to Skierniewice, Sieradz, Kutna and Łowicz, Piotrków Trybunalski, Radomska and Tomasów Mazowiecki. The project will expand the 10st of the currently operated electric multiple units of the type L-4268 series of the Flito-3 series of the Flito- series, by one brand-new centre of non-propulsion with a rolling car, intended for regional passenger transport. Project tasks: rolling stock extension, project management, promotion. The target group of residents of Łódzkie Province and arrivals travelling to and from work, schools, universities, public and cultural institutions for tourism purposes. The project will help to improve the cohesion of the region and the region, create competitive conditions for travel to individual transport and increase the professional and spatial mobility of people in the province, increase the security and comfort of travel, including for people with disabilities (doors equipped with buttons in braille, single spatial open interior with low 70 % floor space, space for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users with backrest and seat belts for a wheelchair to be fitted with a passenger, a socket for recharging the battery., mobile ticketing machines, cabins, air conditioning systems, air conditioning and WiFi). The planned effects of implementation of the project are the increase of capacity — the total number of seats and the number of vehicles standing up to 383, the increase in the number of seats of 14 % on the routes currently served, the launch of new connections on the section of railway line No 25, Tomaszów Maz-Opoczno, following its electrification in 2023. Within the frame of the project, the Contractor shall supply 1 full set of all trucks to the extended way, i.e. 2 driving bogies and 2 total running trucks (English)

    Celem Projektu Budowa Łódzkiej Kolei Aglomeracyjnej Etap III jest poprawa dostępności transportowej woj. łódzkiego poprzez poprawienie oferty przewozowej Spółki ŁKA w relacjach z Łodzi do Skierniewic, Sieradza, Kutna i Łowicza, Piotrkowa Trybunalskiego, Radomska i Tomaszowa Mazowieckiego. W ramach Projektu rozbudowanych zostanie 10szt aktualnie eksploatowanych elektrycznych zespołów trakcyjnych typu L-4268 serii Flirt-3 o jeden fabrycznie nowy środkowy człon nienapędny wraz z wózkiem tocznym, przeznaczonych do pasażerskich przewozów regionalnych. Zadania w ramach projektu: rozbudowa taboru, zarządzanie projektem, promocja. Grupa docelowa mieszkańcy woj. łódzkiego i przyjezdni podróżujący do i z pracy, szkół, uczelni, instytucji publicznych i kulturalnych, w celach turystycznych. Projekt przyczyni się do poprawy wew. spójności regionu i woj., powstania konkurencyjnych warunków podróżowania wobec transportu indywidualnego i zwiększenia mobilności zawodowej i przestrzennej mieszkańców woj., zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa i komfortu podróżowania, w tym dla os. z niepełnosprawnościami (drzwi wyposażone w przyciski oznakowane w języku Braille’a, jednoprzestrzenne bezstopniowe wnętrze z udziałem niskiej podłogi ok70%, miejsca dla os. o ograniczonych możliwościach ruchowych i na wózkach inwalidzkich wyposażone w oparcia i pasy bezpieczeństwa do mocowania wózka z pasażerem, gniazdka umożliwiające ładowanie wózków akumulator., mobilne automaty biletowe, kabinę WC, uchwyty na rowery, klimatyzację i sieć WiFi). Planowane efekty realizacji Projektu to zwiększenie pojemności – łączna liczba miejsc siedzących i stojących w rozbudowanych pojazdach to 383, zwiększenie liczby połączeń o ok14% na obecnie obsługiwanych trasach, uruchomienie nowych połączeń na odcinku linii kolejowej nr 25 Tomaszów Maz-Opoczno, po jej elektryfikacji w 2023r.
