Immerge is a multidisciplinary project that brings together four scientific partners from the territory: the Institute of Physics of the Globe of Paris and its observatories in Guadeloupe, the Institut Pasteur de Guadeloupe, the University of the Antilles, INRA. Studies remain non-existent on dusts from the Sahara Desert, the sulphur volcano and aerosols. This lack of knowledge is a critical barrier that needs to be overcome if we want to raise awareness among communities, institutions and citizens about this issue of “natural aerosols”, and provide new knowledge tools that will better address these issues and thus better respond to the needs of the territory. Environmental and societal issues are important, and impact assessments need to be carried out on a territory-wide basis. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(French)
