New technologies based on artificial intelligence, IoT, big data, robotics and advanced analysis enable the development of precision agriculture. Providing farmers with tools to observe, measure and analyse the needs of both their farms and employees allows for better resource management while reducing environmental impact and waste. The aim of this project is to create new tools and more relevant advice to help livestock grow economically, ecologically and to better meet societal expectations. In addition to the data currently collected, it is now widely envisaged to use the image and/or video to capture information such as health status, changes in weight, height, or information related to the behaviour of cattle. Currently, during the distribution of food, it may be considered to capture images of the entire breeding with the possibility of automatically determining which animal feeds. This project aims to develop tools for facial recognition of the animal to then determine and analyse the image of the animal during the distribution of food and verify animal welfare.
