Le projet RESTO (Réseaux fixes et sans fil Energétiquement Sobre exploitant la Transparence Optique) est un sous-projet de SOPHIE consacré au développement de la photonique en Bretagne. Il regroupe des actions sur les réseaux optiques cohérents à très haut débit et l’optique hyperfréquence qui doivent permettre de disposer de "tuyaux" tout-optiques d’une capacité de plus en plus élevée sur des distances toujours plus longues.
