Basketry is the art of manually braiding plants to make utilitarian or decorative objects (basket, basket, basket, bass, etc.). A rare profession that requires a lot of know-how, rigor and physical resistance. In the offerings of training and the prospects of development we have for too long ignored and left aside this aspect of ourselves, from our connection with a past that is moving away. MIC TRAINING has set up this operation in order to meet a demand in the southern sector “MARIN”; the course will begin in initiation with a group of 15 to 20 trainees from April 2018 to December 2019 on 2017, 50 h i.e. 1702.50 h in training and 315 hours in internship, having no experience in the field of basketry. This phase will allow learners to discover the different plants and materials used. They will also continue in deepening and consolidation of basketmaking techniques. This training is aimed at jobseekers or employees who have defined a professional project around the crafts or tourism trades. Other techniques will be put into practice during an immersion with the PANAKUH association located on the GUYANE. At the end of this training, a certificate will be given to the participants (English)
