Property / summary

The action is based on the individual and reinforced support of 70 young people over 12 months, by a full-time counsellor and a project manager with a total of 0.2 FTE, i.e. 1.2 FTE. The project manager will pilot the action up to 1.5 FTEs. _The action takes place over the water according to the young person’s project, his skills, experiences and needs._ The action is directed either internally for young people received in individual interviews or by external partners, in particular the Vauverdois Specialised Prevention Service, the Social Rives Centre, the Policy Department of the City of Vauvert, and any other organisation in contact with young people aged 16 to 25 who are not in school, without employment or ongoing training. Young people will be accompanied in a stronger way for the time they need, with progressive empowerment leading to individualised follow-up if necessary until the end of the action. With an average expected duration of 6 months, support may be extended to one year for young people who have not benefited from access to employment or training. For each young person, the action consists, on the one hand, of modules comprising phases of group work and individual work phases, and, on the other hand, of enhanced individual monitoring, based on individual interviews carried out by the employees assigned to the action. It is based on the alternation between periods of immersion in the workplace and periods of work in the Local Mission in order to optimise these immersions. The allocation of a substantial human resource (1.2 FTEs for 70 young people) will continue the support offered in companies: visit the immersion sites, meet the young person in a working situation, and his tutor.
