La résidence comporte 161 logements construits en 1962 Elle est composée de 18 bâtiments accolés de 5 niveaux formant un S avec 2 cours centrales : L'une servant pour l'accès et le stationnement des véhicules L'autre d'espace vert Cet ensemble immobilier de près de 50 ans d'âge nécessitait une réhabilitation importante. Cette opération de réhabilitation permettra de redonner de l'attrait à la résidence et améliorera de manière significative la qualité de vie des locataires. L'opération se déroulera en milieu occupé, avec un plan d'intervention ciblé permettant au locataire de revenir dans son logement tous les soirs. Afin d'optimiser la coordination entre les différents corps d'état il a été choisi de faire appel à une entreprise générale. Le cahier des charges prévoie un volet d'insertion social significatif, et des obligations de moyens concernant la relation aux locataires, notamment la mise à disposition d'un référent chantier. C'est à dire une personne formée à la fonction, chargée à plein temps d'informer et de recueillir les observations ou plaintes des résident, et d'assurer la liaison avec les responsables du chantier, la maîtrise d'oeuvre, la maîtrise d'ouvrage ainsi que le gestionnaire du site.
