In view of the diagnosis made, namely the large number of young people without qualifications, a difficult economic context in recent years, the reality of cross-border employment which requires a skilled workforce, the Local Mission must have an offensive approach to helping the integration of this population, which is gradually becoming marginalised. **“Successing Together Youth Employment”** aims to include 120 young people among the 170 planned to be integrated into the scheme. They are young people very far from employment, for some of them coming from the QPV (Quartiers Prioritaires de la Ville) and/or immigration. We will only keep in our balance sheet employment contracts signed for a minimum of 6 months, CDIs and alternating contracts (contract for apprenticeship and professionalisation). Two technical advisers in charge of business relations are looking for all the companies in the Basin in order to promote the connections of these young people, with a single objective: employment. Our action is now well identified in the Basin and many business leaders directly call on the local Mission’s corporate relations officers, a relationship of trust having been established beforehand. Without the support and physical follow-up carried out by the referents and who are the strength of this action, it is more than likely that these young people would not be able to return to the business world alone.
