Les personnes recrutées se voient proposer différentes activités, toutes en lien étroit avec les équipes archéologiques, pédagogiques et scientifique du centre archéologique : relevés de plans, dégagement de vestige sous contrôle des archéologues, consolidation des vestiges découverts, mise en valeur et traitement des sols, aménagements des abords, travail avec un paysagiste pour mise en lumière des ensemble archéologiques, réalisation de cheminements, conception de maquettes, réalisation de mallettes pédagogiques en concertation avec l'équipe d'animateurs et de guides touristiques, interventions pour mise en place de la muséographie ou d'exposition.... Toutes ces interventions sont réalisées dans le cadre d'une démarche de projet qui permet aux participants de s'approprier une démarche et une méthode de travail. Un accompagnement personnel et professionnel qui s'appuie sur les éléments recueillis sur le terrain permet de diagnostiquer les freins, de mettre en place des outils pour les lever ou les dépasser, de construire un projet professionnel réaliste et de mettre en oeuvre une recherche active d'emploi.
