The main objective of the project is to improve the accessibility, efficiency and quality of healthcare in the field of cancer in the region by 2018 in semi-province, but also in the rest of Lower Silesia, through infrastructure investments in. This will be achieved through the implementation of the specific objectives. In 2016, after a two-year study, two hospital units from Zgorzelec (WSPZOZ) and Lubina (MCZ SA) cooperated. The agreement concerns the joint preparation and implementation of a project which, in its action, will contribute to the improvement of indicative reporting and traceability of cancer in the early stages of disease. Another reason for implementing the project is the desire to open a specialist treatment centre for Ch. oncology, who will be the most innovative unit of this type in the country. The project began in January 2014 with the construction of oncology in Zgorzelec and the continuous retrofitting of medical services. The project will focus in particular on the purchase of diagnostic equipment. The project will end in 2018-09-07. The contractors/suppliers will be selected in accordance with the principle of competitiveness or the Public Procurement Act. The project has analysed the need for cancer services, which shows a strong need for this project due to the dramatic situation of cancer sufferers. All indicators relating to the quality of cancer treatment compared to Europe and even to other regions of Poland are significantly lower. The project will significantly improve the availability of diagnosis and treatment services, but will also increase the quality of the benefits provided. The project will have an impact on the development of the coordinated and environmental care model by making use of the oncology package. Coordination will also be applied to the cooperation of two hospital units. (English) | |||

(Polish)
