The ‘Spatial Data in the State Information System (ENS)’ project is a response to the needs that emerged from the implementation of the Geostatic Data Portal — Phase II (PGS-Phase II).Under the PDS project tasks will be carried out to improve and expand the functionality of the services provided in the context of the PGS-Phase II project and the construction of new, advanced spatial services. The system will provide users with the resulting statistical information and the possibility to perform multidimensional geostatic analyses, including the preparation of statistical analyses in any area, e.g. defined by the user or downloaded from external spatial services (WFS).A fully innovative service will be to present data and analysis in a “dynamic” grid of squares, independent of the country’s administrative division and aligned for all EU countries.Users will also be able to combine their own data with available statistics, as well as geo-coding of their own facilities. The planned functionalities are the result of an analysis of the needs of the stakeholder groups of public statistics, and the proposed architecture of the solution builds on the results of the feasibility study and builds on international experience and expertise. The main objective of the project is to widen the scope and availability of statistical information and methods for geostationary analysis using public statistics, which will be directly translated into public access to the environment for statistical analysis together with the necessary tool software. This task can only be carried out by official statistics, given that the individual data necessary for carrying out the analyses are available only in public statistics.Given the need to maintain statistical confidentiality, those data may not be made available. (Polish)
